Reservation Policy Reservations can be made over the telephone, or by sending the Reservation Policies and Contract along with the deposit required or full payment. If the reservation is made via telephone, the Reservations Policies and Contract must be received within ten days. Reservations may be made up to 24 hours prior to each vacations departure date, depending on availability. Cancellation Of Land Transportation Vacations Cancellations made 30 or more days prior to departure will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 10 to 29 days prior to the departure date will be 50% refunded minus a $90.00 handling fee and any incidental expenses already incurred. Cancellations made fewer than ten (10) days before the departure date will be considered a no-show and will not be entitled to a refund. All requests for refunds must be made in writing. Cancellation Of Air & Cruise Transportation Vacations Cancellations made after air and/or cruise tickets have been purchased will be charged the cost of ticketing plus a $90.00 handling fee. Cancellations made within ten days of the departure will be considered a no-show and will not be entitled to a refund. In the event of strikes or schedule changes with the airlines, Off the Beaten Path, Inc. reserves the right to notify consumers of a schedule change. We reserve the right to change vendors to a vendor of a similar nature. A state issued photo I.D. is mandatory. Without an ID, boarding will be denied and you will not be entitled to a refund. A passport is mandatory for all travel outside the U.S. including cruises and Canadian trips. Without a passport, boarding will be denied and you will not be entitled to a refund. Off The Beaten Path, Inc is not responsible for equipment failure. Post Vacation Charges If Off the Beaten Path incurs any of the following charges (long distance phone charges, pay TV charges, excess baggage charges, extra motel charge for bed wetting, toiletry, clothing, or medical charges we made on your behalf) you will receive an invoice for such charges. New Rquirements and Recommendations We require flu shots for winter travelers. Keep in mind flu shots are not effective for the first two weeks. Off the Beaten Path, Inc. recommends that consumers purchase a travel insurance policy to safeguard against loss due to illness and/or other covered events. Contact your local travel agency or AIG Travel Guard (800.826.4919) for insurance information. Fuel Surcharge In the event of rapidly rising fuel costs and/or air fare, Off the Beaten Path, Inc. reserves the right to add a surcharge, not to exceed 10% of the total cost of the vacation. Weather In the event of severe weather and consumers are unable to get to the meeting place, they will be considered a no show.
